J. Brad Scarbrough

Brad Scarbrough is the firm’s founder and managing member. He brings the perspective of a veteran transactional and litigation attorney to advising businesses and individuals in construction and real estate matters. His practice spans contract negotiation, dispute resolution, and complex litigation. Brad works closely with clients to develop practical strategies, avoid and resolve disputes efficiently, and, when necessary, pursue or defend claims with a disciplined, results-oriented approach.
Brad began his legal career with hands-on litigation experience, serving as a law clerk to the Tennessee Court of Appeals and as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Tennessee. He transitioned into private practice, joining a firm of established construction and real estate attorneys, further developing his focus in those areas. In addition to trying cases before judges, juries, and arbitrators, he successfully argued multiple matters before the Tennessee Court of Appeals and the Tennessee Supreme Court.
Since founding the firm in 2008, Brad has grown the practice into a leading construction and real estate firm in the region. The firm’s client base is built largely through referrals from current clients, other attorneys, and parties who have previously been involved in litigation matters with the firm, reflecting the trust and professional respect he has earned within the industry.
Clients value Brad’s practical, business-oriented approach, clear advice, and deep understanding of the construction and real estate landscape.
